Buddhism was a new import to North America during the 70s and 80s, and there was a lot of curiosity surrounding Chögyam Trungpa and his quickly growing community. It seems that people essentially wanted to know three things: Who is Chögyam Trungpa? What is he teaching? And will Buddhism really work in American culture? In the interviews listed below—for radio, magazine articles, and even live TV—Trungpa Rinpoche meets this curiosity by masterfully distilling his life story, teachings, and vision for the general public. Trungpa Rinpoche referenced himself very little in his talks, so these recordings are especially precious.
