We are pleased to announce:
• Our first LIVE Information Session
• July 3rd at 1pm Eastern on Zoom
• You are cordially invited to attend!
Our purpose in holding this discussion is to gain a better understanding of the way our audience has been using, and would like to use, the Digital Library, including the searchable Media Library. We also want to offer more insight into the features and full potential of the Library.
No registration is required. A reminder link will be sent the day before the event via our mailing list. If you are not already getting our Newsletter, please subscribe using the Sign-up form in the footer below, to be kept up to date.
Please join us on Wednesday July 3rd at 1pm EDT and…
- Tell us about your experience: offer your feedback and questions about using the website.
- Meet the core team who have been building the Library.
- Get tips on using the Media Library module to find specific material.
- Hear about the plans for filling out the media library with the remainder of the 1,550 public talks and events.
We launched the Library almost 18 months ago, with the aspiration to provide universal access to every public talk recorded between 1970 and 1987, many of which have never been previously released. Behind the scenes, we are producing archival-quality verbatim transcripts of every recording, to maximize accessibility and deep discovery. We continue to release new material into the Library on a monthly basis. We intend to increase this tempo, and also make the site as useful as possible, with your help.
You can read much more about the history of the project on the About Our Work page.
