In case you missed it, here’s the recording of our first live information session on July 3rd on Zoom:
Our purpose in holding this discussion was to gain a better understanding of the way our audience has been using, and would like to use, the Digital Library, including the searchable Media Library. We also wanted to offer more insight into the features and full potential of the Library. Thank you to all who attended and offered questions and insight! And stay tuned for our next session!
We launched the Library almost 18 months ago, with the aspiration to provide universal access to every public talk recorded between 1970 and 1987, many of which have never been previously released. Behind the scenes, we are producing archival-quality verbatim transcripts of every recording, to maximize accessibility and deep discovery. We continue to release new material into the Library on a monthly basis. We intend to increase this tempo, and also make the site as useful as possible, with your help.
You can read much more about the history of the project on the About Our Work page.
